Peter & Sandi Silseth
Peter has been involved in Christian radio ministry since 1976 and Sandi has been an RN since 1978. Peter and Sandi first served as short term missionaries in Liberia, West Africa - Peter with a radio ministry and Sandi with a medical clinic. After returning to the USA due to the Liberian civil war, they both were involved in their particular ares of expertise plus Peter also taught in a high school part time.
In 1999, Peter and Sandi started ministering in Roatan, Honduras, where they lived for over 15 years working with the missionary radio station HRGS. Peter and Sandi both worked on the air and were involved with several ministries outside the radio station. Through the years Peter preached in churches while Sandi was involved with counseling and women’s Bible studies.
They returned to the USA in late 2014 due to Peter’s health. Sandi continued work as a nurse as well as helped with the STAR Teams (short term mission trips) from 2015-2019. Peter was involved with the STAR Teams as well as multimedia promotions of the various ministries of MissioSERVE. Peter also managed Hope Radio in Mango, Togo, from 2021-2025 as well as produced radio programs for Verse by Verse Ministries.
Now the Silseths have joined IGOworldwide extending their ministry through "LEAP" - Listening, Encouraging, Assisting and Praying - as they seek to continue to share the gospel with IGO Worldwide. They are excited to be part of the IGO team and are looking forward to new areas of service.
